First Aid Kit Contents

I suggest:

  • 1 large kit for the main workshop (or a smaller kit if you don't have a large workforce - @5 or less)
  • some smaller portable kits for taking in utes, machinery or placing at other workyards or worksheds
  • For smaller kits, you can reduce the number of individual items and consider what might be more relevant to where the portable kits will be used
  • On farm, it’s also a good idea to have extra triangular and compression bandages (heavy duty crepe) and some elements of the remote, and burn modules

Make the First Aid kits suit you and your workplace.

You can order a kit pre-made to the Regulations or use the attached list to make it yourself.

Don't get too hung up on always having the exact required numbers of each item in your kit, but always aim to have enough. Especially items such as gauze, gel and dressings for burns, heavy crepe bandages for snake bites, hydro gel and antiseptic.
